What is job costing?
Job costing compares what a job earns with what it costs, so you see the profit on each piece of work. In Clevra every job shows revenue from its line items, labor from tracked time and expenses with receipts, then works out profit and margin automatically.
Profit on the job page
Every job has a Financials card with revenue, labor costs, expense costs, profit and margin. It updates as work happens, not at the end of the month.
Labor from real hours
Set a labor cost per hour for each team member. When techs track time against a job, the labor cost lands on that job. See crew management and timesheets.
Expenses with receipts
Log materials and other expenses against the job with a photo of the receipt, so costs are in the job's numbers.
Costs stay private
Costing figures only show to roles allowed to see them, so techs do not see pay rates or margins they should not.
Spot the jobs that lose money
Use Insights reports for revenue, expenses and team productivity across jobs, with CSV and Excel export.
